A library that opened in 1958, dedicated to plays and movies. It holds more than 490,000 pieces of material including scripts, programs, photos, literature, and magazines related to plays, including Shochiku works (kabuki, shingeki, ("new drama"), Shinpa (" new-school drama"), commercial theatrical performances, etc.), movies, Japanese classical dance, TV dramas, and cartoon films. Anybody can view these materials for free.
